People are continually asking me, should I get the BoneSmart Pilates DVD if I go to Pilates a couple of times a week? My advice is generally the same. If you get the DVD you’ll learn the A, B, C’s of the BoneSmart Pilates method, and that will be advantageous to anyone who is diagnosed with / or at risk for osteoporosis or osteopenia. If you go to a class a couple of times a week, and you exercise along with the DVD two times a week, then you’ll be practicing Pilates four times a week, which is the recommendation of Joe Pilates in his book “Return to Life”.
